Could not figure out how to turn it on!!!! March 5, 2010

I was SO excited to get this but when I did I couldn't figure out how to turn the darn thing on!! There were no instructions with the item and the docjohnson website was not helpful. It was SO frustrating! It turns out the secret is to hold the circular button in the middle for a few seconds and apparently a light is supposed to flash (mine didn't do that) and then you can push the vibe up or rotate up button and it should start up! It worked for me minus the initial light. After that it worked GREAT! Very happy with the results! ;) I used to have a "rabbit" that broke and this seems to work even better! Highly recommended!

I have always wanted to get a vibrator, so I'm a newbie! I didn't even hesitate on buying this vibrator, I saw good reviews--had a urge to buy one-- so I went for it! I am amazed. what have i been missing all of life???!!this was amazing, i swear i had like multiple orgasms of delight. I feel myself giggling and talking to #48 saying "you make me a very happy girl!" lol. All I recommend is that you use 3 rechargeable triple AAA batteries for this toy because the ones that came with it-- cheap alkaline batteries didn't last very long. I wish it had a power cord, but this thing is so satisfying, i'll settle with rechargeable batteries. And watch out for the lube-- i spilled it on my bed and it left a stain. :P I don't think you'll need it, because with this thing you won't need to worry about lubing unless you're doing the backdoor, then that's a different story for some of you guys. For me, I'm inexperienced so it was uncomfortable at first using the toy, but practice makes perfect! Just relax and have fun!

I have heard countless times how amazing Rabbit vibrators are and after years of wanting one I decided on this one. I figured it was a good value and would not be out much if it did not perform to my standards.
It is a good value at around $25, however, the rotating shaft does very little and I honestly could not tell it was even on, so to save batteries I kept it off and just used the vibrator. #48 has two vibrators; one at the tip, and one for the outer stimulator. Both are about as powerful as a bullet vibrator (even on high vibrations are mild).
It has 6 settings (high, med, low) both the vibrator and rotation shaft are controlled separately and there is a reverse rotation button. It does not pulse, change vibration timings or anything else you would expect from the rabbit, just constant humming. It is waterproof as well, and although I would not use it underwater..for showers this baby would rock!
Doc Johnson Lucid Dream #48 is the quietest vibrator I have ever used, you can use while your partner is in bed and will not disturb them...even when he uses it on me I do not hear him start it up :)
If you need more than mild stimulation to achieve orgasm this vibrator is NOT for you. I have yet to achieve an orgasm from using this product and do not believe I will use it again.

This is my first vibrator so maybe I don't know the market that well, but this product has made me VERY satisfied. Maybe even a bit too satisfied--ie use this somewhere you don't mind others hearing you as it is VERY hard not to scream/squeal with delight while using this product! ;) Great length, easy fit, and the rabbit... omg the rabbit. Feeling vibration inside and out= Just oh my god WOW. Only con is that it does come with a strong plastic-y smell, but that is not something that should bother you while actively using it. heh.
