 Anti-Scratch Screen Terrible August 25, 2010

Silicone cover was fine, but I wouldn't plan on using the Anti-Scratch Screen. I put mine on but it increased the glare on the screen tremendously. One of the great aspects of the Kindle is its ability to deal with glare, but the screen kills it. I took mine off after about a day.

I bought a kindle last month. It was sort of a gimmick to get my 12 year old son back into the habit of reading. We ordered on amazon, it arrived in a few days. My son had it running and within 2 hours had it charged and dowloaded 8 free books that were all classics. The silicon skin arrived at the same time. I suggest anyone who orders a kindle to get some kind of skin for it. I am clumsy and this skin helps to grip it as well as to protect it from bumps and spills. It is NOT waterproof but is a good cover. We also ordered some laminate sheets that fit over the screen to protect the screen. I DO NOT like these as they creat GLARE on the perfect screen that the KINDLE has--though they do protect.
So do get a cover for your kindly..you will not regret it. Better think twice on the laminate squares.
OH...and my son is back into reading and we battle over the kindle all the time...now we need ANOTHER ONE!!!

I read Kindle 2 Clear Silicon Cover Sleeve and 2 Anti-Scratch Screen Protector. So I think its a bit confusing, at first I thought that I was buying 2 of each when I opened the package I saw just 1 from each. DUH!!
Its the Kindle 2 not 2 of each.
Yet that didnt dissapoint at all, yeah I got half the product I was expecting for my money but still Im totally pleased, works great, fits great, and keeps your baby safe, what else do you need.
And still for the ONE Cover and ONE Screen protector, excellent price!

This silicone cover fits the Kindle 2 perfectly and provides a non-slip surface as well. The remarks about the hard-to-see button labels quickly becomes a non-issue as soon as your fingers learn the placements.

Nice cover! Overall nice fit
Only reason I didn't rate this product higher is as a new kindle user I thought this cover would be see through so I could use the navigation buttons.
